Before the renovation: planning your strip-out.

“Back to brick” can mean different things from one project to the next. A clear brief helps everyone understand what should be removed and what must remain.

Write down the scope, room by room

List the kitchens, bathrooms, floor coverings, wall finishes, ceilings and fixtures you want removed. Mark anything to retain, including doors, features and materials you intend to reuse.

Think about access and waste

Parking, loading space, stairs and neighbouring properties affect how the work is organised. Show us the access as well as the rooms so we can discuss removal of the stripped materials.

Confirm the checks and specialist work

Before work begins, confirm any required surveys, service isolation and specialist involvement. Structural alterations are a separate scope and need assessment; an internal strip-out should never be treated as permission to remove structural elements.

Share your plans

Send your postcode, photographs, floor plans if available and the desired finish. For a substantial project, a site visit lets us agree the work and prepare a more useful quote.
